Position Title: Program Assistant

As a non-profit organization established in 2016, NCCEEP’s mission is to unite various organizations, establishments and individuals and help these entities work together for the all-around progress of the community. We host activities and share information that promotes the progress of people of Nigerian descent, as well as the community at large. We aim to assist the community by organizing event and delivering programs in the pursuit of cultural, educational and economic progress.

Job Description

The candidate will assist NCCEEP senior management to execute a range of daily
responsibilities, including but not limited to supporting program initiatives, contributing to the
Sokoni BEP project, assisting with social media and creating content, assisting with
organisation and delivery of Multicultural events, and general office duties.

(9 Weeks from start date)

– Phone calls
– Data collection and input
– Planning and assisting with event tasks, including cultural events, Sokoni Markets etc.
– Office tasks including organization, cleaning, etc.
– Content creation, writing articles,

Job Qualifications
– Open to youth 15 -30 years old
– Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection
has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (International
students are not eligible)
– Computer literate (proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite)
– Work well with a team and independently
– Ability to create content, posters, articles, short posts
– Social Media literate (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok).
